Celebrate Small Business Saturday® in Downtown Milford, Connecticut,
with the Downtown Milford Business Association (DMBA) on November 28, 2026 from 10am to 3pm!
This event is a nationwide celebration, established by American Express in 2010. Small Business Saturday encourages consumers across the country to shop at small, independently owned businesses during the holiday shopping season.
And the DMBA brings that national tradition to the community with a day dedicated to shopping small, discovering local businesses, and celebrating the people who help our community thrive.
Small businesses are more than places to shop; they’re the people, passion, and ideas that make our communities special. From mom-and-pop shops and neighborhood storefronts to startups, independent makers, and service providers, each business brings something unique to the table. Behind every product created and every service offered is a person who has invested their time, creativity, and hard work into bringing their vision to life.
Together, these businesses create local jobs, strengthen our economy, and offer distinctive products, thoughtful gifts, and meaningful discoveries you won’t find everywhere. When you shop small, you’re doing more than making a purchase; you’re supporting local entrepreneurs, helping small businesses grow, and reinvesting in the community that makes them possible.
