Become more involved in the Milford community by joining
the Downtown Milford Business Association.

The DMBA is an organization of businesses that work collectively to foster a vibrant downtown through community involvement and events, political and civic outreach and through intra and out-of-state marketing.

Currently our organization represents 80 businesses—restaurants, retail, service and non-profit—in historic downtown. Our business owners are involved in the civic affairs of the city and are actively involved in boards and commissions, the Chamber of Commerce (including Milford Progress Inc.), the Rotary and other community organizations.

As a member of the DMBA you are supporting the continuing economic growth of our downtown and play a vital role in helping shape our business community.

The DMBA has been recognized for its community efforts and was recently awarded the Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 Milford Tourism Award for successfully increasing tourism to our City.

View a listing of our events scheduled for 2008; these events are designed to increase foot traffic to our downtown and to enhance the image of our City. Of note, we are looking ahead to the 3rd Annual Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt, an event that attracts over 3,000 people from all over Connecticut and New England, and this year we are introducing the Pirates’ Ball which will be the premier event of the year. Also, we are looking ahead to hosting Saturday Night Movies on the Green, a free out-door event that, launched last year, proved wildly successful.

When you become a member in the DMBA you are becoming a part of this wonderfully unique and vibrant community. Your $100 membership fee goes a long way, but more, your active participation will ensure that Downtown Milford continues to be successful—a place “pulsing with activity”.*

Please contact any member of the DMBA or our current board members with questions, or simply mail in the below membership form.
