Welcome

To the many people who already love to shop, dine and play in Downtown Milford...we say thank you.  For those of you who still don’t know about us, please put Downtown Milford high atop your checklist of great places close by to visit.  We are sure that you too will agree that Downtown Milford, CT is a wonderful destination - our little, hidden gem.

With a meticulously maintained town green that we boast is the second longest in New England,  our Downtown is truly unique.  Accessible by car, train, boat, foot or bicycle Downtown is loaded with wonderful, unique shops which specialize in personal service, great restaurants and night life and a full-service marina with transient slips that easily accommodate day trippers or overnight boaters.  One trip to our quaint New England town and we think you too will agree that Milford is a small city with a big heart.

Stroll along the duck pond, cast your pole in the Wepawaug River or picnic by the harbor and watch the sailboats glide by.  You will feel relaxed, renewed and ready to explore all that Downtown offers.  Don’t feel like walking?  Then hail a pedicab and let the driver pedal for you as take in sights of picturesque Downtown Milford.

Whether you live in Milford or are just visiting, we are certain that you will run out of time before you run out of things to do in Downtown.  From the craft shows on the Green which run from May until October to the Pirate Festival, Lobsterbake, Oyster festival, Saturday morning Farmers’ market, Lamplight Stroll,  parades for all occasions, the Milford Fine Arts Council and the Milford Historical Society, it is easy to see why downtown Milford has become a favorite place to shop, dine and play.

This website is brought to you by the Downtown Milford Business Association which represents 60 businesses (restaurants, retail, service and non-profit) come shop, dine, and play in Downtown Milford!
