For those of you who still don't know about us, please put Downtown Milford high atop your checklist of great places to visit. We are sure that you too will agree that Downtown Milford, Connecticut is a wonderful destination - our little, hidden gem.

With a meticulously maintained Town Green that is the second longest in New England and a harbor within walking distance, our Downtown is truly unique. Accessible by car, train, boat, foot or bicycle Downtown is loaded with wonderful, unique shops which specialize in personal service, award winning restaurants, night life, and a full-service marina with transient slips that easily accommodate day trippers or overnight boaters. One trip to our quaint New England town and we think you too will agree that Downtown Milford is indeed the heartbeat of the "Small City with a Big Heart."

Stroll along the duck pond, cast your fishing line in the Wepawaug River or picnic by the harbor and watch the sailboats glide by. You will feel relaxed, renewed and ready to explore all that Downtown offers. Don't feel like walking? Then hail a pedicab and let the driver pedal as you take in sights of picturesque Downtown Milford.  Take a break, grab a bite to eat or sip on your favorite beverage at any one of a dozen outdoor dining spots.

Whether you live in Milford or are just visiting, we are certain that you will run out of time before you run out of things to do in Downtown. From the craft shows on the Green which run from May until October to the Pirate Festival, Lobsterbake, Oyster festival, Saturday morning Farmers' Market, Lamplight Stroll, parades for all occasions, the Milford Fine Arts Council and the Milford Historical Society, it is easy to see why Downtown Milford has become a favorite place to shop, dine and play.
